1. Who we are

This site is operated by Sarvang Group LLP, trading as Sarvang Group and referred to here as "we" or "us". Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described on this page, which means we decide why and how it is handled.

2. What this policy covers

It covers this website, the booking calendar on it, and the email and phone conversations that follow from either. It does not cover any other website you reach by following a link from here.

3. What we collect

When you book a call. The booking calendar asks you for your first name, last name, email address, phone number, city, state, and which service you are interested in. It also records the slot you chose and your time zone. You type all of this yourself; none of it is taken from you without your knowing.

When you email or call us. Whatever you choose to put in the message, along with your email address or phone number, and our reply.

Automatically, as with any website. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs containing your IP address, the pages you requested, the time, and which browser you used. These exist so the site can be kept running and secure. Cloudflare may also set a security cookie in your browser to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic.

Things this site loads from other companies. Being open about this matters more than it being flattering:

• The page fonts come from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
• The booking calendar is a third-party widget. Loading it means its provider, and a Meta advertising pixel that the widget itself includes, receive your IP address and the fact that you opened the booking page. We did not add that pixel and we do not read anything from it, but it is there and you should know.

On your own device. We store one thing in your browser: whether you chose the light or dark version of the site. It is not personal data, it never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies of our own.

4. Why we have it, and on what basis

We use what you give us to do the thing you asked for: reply to your enquiry, hold the call at the time you picked, discuss the work, and if you go ahead, deliver it and invoice for it. Under the DPDP Act our basis is your consent, given when you fill in the booking form or write to us, together with the legitimate use of data you have voluntarily given us for a purpose you asked for.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

5. Marketing

We do not send marketing email. If you contact us, you will hear from us about your own enquiry and nothing else. Should that ever change, we will ask for your consent first and every message will carry a way to stop them.

6. Who else handles it

A small number of companies process data on our behalf, under our instructions:

• Our booking and CRM provider runs the calendar widget and stores the enquiries that come through it.
• Google, because our email is hosted with them and our fonts are served by them.
• Cloudflare, which hosts and serves this website and keeps the server logs described above.

Some of these companies are outside India and your data may be stored on their servers abroad. We will also disclose data if the law requires it of us, and we will tell you if that happens unless we are forbidden from doing so.

7. How long we keep it

If you enquire and we do not end up working together, we delete your details two years after we last heard from you. If you become a client, we keep what the work and the law require, including records we are obliged to hold for tax and accounting, and delete the rest on the same two-year rule. Server logs are kept only as long as our host retains them for security purposes.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may:

• Ask what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate, complete anything missing, or update anything out of date.
• Ask us to erase your data, where we are not required to keep it.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. We will stop processing on that basis, though it does not undo what was lawfully done before.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapable of exercising them yourself.
• Raise a grievance with us and have it answered.

To use any of these, write to sarvanggroupllp@gmail.com with enough detail for us to find your records. We answer as quickly as we can and within the period the law allows. There is no charge.

9. Complaints

Write to us first at the address above and we will try to put it right. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Keeping it safe

We keep access to enquiry data limited to the people who need it, use reputable providers for storage, and do not keep copies of personal data in places we have not thought about. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise; if a breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

11. Children

This site is for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we do not track children or direct advertising at them. If you believe a child has given us data, tell us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change is significant and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly.
